A confidential CIA analysis has reportedly concluded that Iran can survive the US naval blockade for at least three to four months before facing more severe economic hardship.

The analysis, reported by the Washington Post, also found that Tehran retains significant ballistic missile capabilities despite weeks of intense US and Israeli bombardment.

A US official said that Iran retains about 75% of its pre-war inventories of mobile launchers and about 70% of its pre-war stockpiles of missiles.

Donald Trump earlier commented that Iran’s missiles “are mostly decimated,” and that they only have 18-19% remaining.
