Source - The Telegraph

Theresa May has been warned that as many as a dozen Eurosceptic ministers are prepared to quit so they can back a Brexit "Plan B". Eurosceptic and Remain Tory MPs joined forces to table an amendment which would see Britain attempt to secure a "mutual standstill" with the EU until December 2021. Under the plans, dubbed the “Malthouse plan B amendment”, Britain would extend Article 50 until May 22 before attempting to secure a deal that retains the status quo while a future relationship is established. The UK would pay the Brexit divorce bill in exhange for the standstill transition.
