Trump ruled out using a nuclear weapon on Iran, calling it a "stupid question" because the country's military has been defeated.

Trump was taking questions from reporters in the Oval Office when he was asked about the potential escalation of force.

"Well, I would never say. That, but the answer is yes, I ruled out," he said. "I ruled it out there's no reason for it."

"What a stupid question that is," he added. "Actually, here they are. They're totally defeated militarily. So now I defeat him, and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of them. What a stupid question."
